More destinations in Europe, an expanded programme in the USA and Canada and new charter flights are features of Crystal Ski’s new winter ski brochure. One destination offered for the first time is the Arctic adventure resort of Levi in Finland.

Brochure prices to Europe lead in at £245, based on four people sharing an apartment in Kopaonik in Serbia, and to North America start from £299 for seven nights in Banff. Ski weekends in Europe, including four nights’ bed and breakfast, start from £199.

Crystal Ski is offering two for one lift passes for bookings made before July 31 2007 on seven-night holidays to all European ski resorts departing during December 2007 and January 2008, including the Christmas and New Year period.

Virgin Atlantic New routes: October

Virgin Atlantic has announced that it will launch direct flights between Heathrow and Mauritius on October 28 2007, and between Gatwick and Jamaica on October 30.

The twice-weekly service to Mauritius departs London on Fridays and Sundays, returning from Mauritius on Saturdays and Mondays. The route will be operated using an Airbus A340-300 with 240 seats onboard – 34 Upper Class, 35 Premium Economy and 171 Economy.

The twice-weekly service between Gatwick and Kingston will depart on Tuesdays and Saturdays, operated by Virgin’s 451-seat Boeing 747-400 aircraft.

Flybe Announces new winter routes

Flybe has published its 2007 winter schedule, effective 28th October, which offers its biggest ever winter seat sale and the introduction of eight new routes, along with the reintroduction of popular winter services to destinations across the UK and Europe.

Flybe’s new schedule sees major expansion within the Swiss market with the launch of three brand new routes into Geneva from the Isle of Man, Jersey and Newquay. Other new routes include Southampton to Brussels and its first ever winter service to Avignon, Isle of Man to Luton, Cardiff International to Paris Charles de Gaulle, and the first ever winter service between Edinburgh and Newquay.

Bateaux London - New lunch cruises

Bateaux London has added five new lunch cruises throughout the summer months. A three-course set menu costs £24 per person, with the option of upgrading to the Elite Package which includes a three course set menu, guaranteed window table, half a bottle of house wine and half a bottle of mineral water and tea and coffee (costing £32 per person).

Lunch cruises are available from Wednesday to Saturday weekly with extra cruises now running on July 14 and 21, August 9 and 11 2007. The Thames cruise operator also offers a popular weekly Sunday Lunch Jazz cruise starting at £39.50 per person.

Albion in Mauritius is an entirely new resort, opening late summer 2007, and resorts in Mauritius, Mexico and France are opening following renovations.
